Brendan is a native of Cincinnati. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Ohio University studying Spanish and Business. He started his career at A.G. Edwards with his father, and was recruited to join Hilliard Lyons in 2008. Hilliard Lyons merged with Baird in 2019. He holds his Series 7, 66 and insurance licenses and has attained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from The College for Financial Planning. Brendan learned the business from his father and is the fourth generation of his family to be in the financial advisory business.
Brendan is active in the community and currently serves as Board President for Starfire Council, an organization helping to empower and change the lives of teens and adults with developmental disabilities.
In 2021 Brendan was nationally recognized by Financial Planning Magazine as a Top 40 Regional Advisor Under 40 acknowledging his assets under management and revenue. In 2021 Brendan was also honored as a member of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Top 40 Under 40, a prestigious award recognizing local leaders for their service in the community and successful career achievements.
While Brendan leads the Wheeler-Hosty Group, he acknowledges all credit goes to his team. The Wheeler-Hosty Group has over $600 million is client assets and in some cases 4 generations of family members as their client.
